Contrary to some people's point of view, family is important to me. Some people have their own needs and wants on their own mind, but we've been brought up to respect and take everyone into consideration, to think of everyone else when making a big decision. After all, I do owe my family my life. Even my brother.
I'll be going to Shanghai, China with my mother on the 22nd as this might be one of the last times I get to bond with her alone before I leave permanently for the United States. Besides, I've never been to China, and when I move, I probably never will get the chance. That, and she's sponsoring me, so why not?
Not everything is about money, though money is important, especially at a time like this. It'll just take a little more time than usual.
In other news, I just watched my first LIVE soccer match at the National Stadium yesterday with Yasmin, KTML, Stacy, CG, Eva and Sufian. I only really have two words to say about the match, "REFEREE KAYU!" I mean, for a while, there were 12 men from the opposing team playing on the pitch! Whuthefuck?
Altogether, about 14,000 people watched it with me. It was awesome, the atmosphere was great (even though we were sitting amongst the opposing team's fans...)
