We went there again yesterday where we played Monopoly again. The Singapore version this time. Of course, I used the hat counter, as always. I smoked 'em. I had houses in the purple areas and the red areas, and the Chance cards seemed to keep on sending them there. Which was great, I had a hotel built in Queen Astrid, the square before Go, and Linus landed there a couple of times.
On the second or third time, he had to give me all his money AND property, as rent went up to $20,000. In fact, they were happier going to jail than to take a chance to land on that particular square. It was so funny, the way they were counting the number of squares from their counter to the Queen Astrid square and heaving a sigh of relief when they cross that mark, or land just right in the middle and have to pay taxes.
The hat counter is my lucky charm.
Ever since Howard, Rez and I played Monopoly, he's been schooling me on the Ways of The Hat. About two years ago, both Rez and I were totally SMOKED by the Almighty Hat. So much so that at one point I think I flipped the board and we had to restart, to which we were smoked. AGAIN.

Anyway. I think the next time we do this should be done a little cheaply and we should just gather at someone's house and play. Order McD's or something to that extent. I mean, having to pay $12 per table per hour? That's exorbitant in my opinion. Then again they have a business to run so, oh well.
