Flight was extremely bumpy, felt like we were taking nose-dives at certain points. It was extremely hard to eat, and Coca-Cola does not taste nice when snorted by accident due to turbulence. Trust me.
Well. First thing that happened when I met my parents at the airport is that they started nagging at me. Non-stop. All the way home in the cab. Did you behave yourself? You put on weight! Go on a diet! Don't go back there again. Go to church with me this Sunday. Go find a job. Et Cetera. Do you know how hard that is to tolerate when you're hinging on 46hrs of no sleep?
And people wonder why I didn't want to come home..
Actually, according to Starfire, his relationship with his parents IMPROVED when he's overseas. Not that he doesn't get along with them well, it's just that if you're there less often, there's less chance that a fight will break out, like what happens on a daily basis with my family.
I thought he made a lot of sense, which makes me even more determined to get my immigration shit done. I just need a nudge or a shove in the right bloody direction.
I need all the help I can get.
